Winning Kids Club is preparing to house Haitian orphans
The Winning Kids Club is a nonprofit charity organization that assists local disadvantaged and disabled children living in Lee or Charlotte counties, but according to president Gail Ghigna-Hallas, the group’s focus is switching exclusively to caring for up to 10 Haitian children ranging from infants to 5 year olds. Coral Ridge Cemetery to hold vigil for victims of earthquake
Coral Ridge Cemetery is hosting a vigil today for the people killed in the Haitian earthquake. Starting at 5:30 .pm., the vigil is open to the public. Those attending are being encouraged to bring donations of food, clothing, water and money to help those in need. Read full article here>>

FBC gives $1 per blood donor toward Haitian Relief Fund
For everyone who attempts to donate blood between Saturday, Jan. 16 through Monday, Jan. 25, FBC will donate $1 to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. FBC is also donating more than 1,000 bottles of water to relief efforts. Read full article here>>
