They have thoughtfully included information about the local government & the community as well as a section on doing business. Also provided are separate menus specifically for residents & visitors.
Not only is the entire site stuffed full of useful information, but it also houses island history that is sure to be best read while at leisure. Just the Story of Fort Myers Beach alone covers the earliest days, homesteaders and settlers, early subdivisions, the hurricanes and much, much more. Beyond the Story, there is also history on Early Days on Estero Island & Fort Myers Beach Historic Preservation Board.
