What to do on Fort Myers Beach this summer?

Visit the Alliance for the Art's GreenMarket for locally grown produce, live music, cooking demonstrations & other events.

Chefs Reiner Drygala & Heath Higginbothem from Bistro 41 share their knowledge during weekly cooking demonstrations, created with ingredients from the GreenMarket.

Special events coming up include voter registration booths, July 24th Blood Drive and children's activities provided by Florida Historical Society's Story Lady.

The market is constantly adding new vendors with products including clay art, custom jewelry, potted plants and even customized lifestyle plans.

Visit the GreenMarket on Saturday morning from 8am to noon.

Buyers Interested in Walkability

This is an interesting tidbit found on RealtyTimes.com -

"Homebuyers are ranking a home's walking distance to schools, stores, neighborhood parks, and more as high on the list of influences to buy a home. Buyers are interested in purchasing a house that allows them to get around without the car."

I'd say that Fort Myers Beach ranks up right up there for that specification!
